This year, our theme is Babylon: Daniel’s Courage in Captivity. We will learn about what it means to have the courage to stand up for our faith in a culture that doesn’t always agree with what we believe.
SALT – Spiritual Action Leadership Training
(Gr. 7-8 in September)
Youth who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour will be learning what it means to be a leader through various lessons and activities, including hands-on experience leading alongside seasoned veterans!
Week 1 is focused on training and building leadership skills. Weeks 2 and 3 will put these skills into practice during camp. These 3 weeks will be rewarding as we learn, serve, and bond together!
Lunch is provided in weeks 2 & 3 but you will need to bring your own nut-free food for week 1 and the mandatory training session. Camp food is nut-free but not made in inspected nut-free facilities. We do not cater to individual dietary restrictions. No refund is available.
SALT runs on weekdays from June 29, 2018 to July 20, 2018, except for July 2, from 8:00am-5:00pm. In order for the program to run effectively, we require all SALT to attend all three weeks of camp as well as mandatory training dates. Due to the limited capacity of the camp, youth who attend SCBC as their home church will get priority. Email confirmation of enrollment will be sent at the end of May. A screening process may be conducted if necessary.
o Early Bird: $150 for all three weeks.
o Regular: $170 for all three weeks.
(Age 4 by June 30 to Grade 1-6 in September)

In the afternoon, it’s all about SIA – Special Interest Activities: Arts & Crafts, Games & Sports, Science & Computers, Life Skills (cooking, gardening), and Performance Arts (dance, music, drama).
